For 20 years Suzy and Steve have watched their children grow up playing in their North London garden. Now the family’s priorities are changing, they felt it was time to re-think the garden. Suzy in particular is keen to have a garden she can tend and love.

This project is a gradual development of the existing framework. Life Landscapes provides regular garden maintenance as well as design ideas, planting plans and minor landscaping.

The first change was the re-shaping of borders and major soil conditioning to remove rubble and add organic matter.

New planting designs were implemented in March 2010.

Other minor landscape works have included the trellis screening, compost bins and a washing line.
