Show Garden Competition Entry
Life Landscapes put forward designs for a show garden at a North London nursery.
The design features a spiral of low-growing bamboo terminating in a feature reclaimed plant stand. With plenty of space on the paving for dining table and chairs, the design shows how an original layout can be created in a small urban garden.
By combining natural sandstone paving and hardwood decking, visitors travel around the spiral over a series of different spaces. A raised deck seat looks back into the garden and faces the evening sun. Contemporary batten fencing and a feature 'wedding-cake' tree adds to the stylish garden.
